Overview

Collaborate with Sr. Business Manager and Business Coordinator and Manager of Programs in organization of tennis programs and events providing service to tennis playing community.

Responsibilities

  • Handle phone calls ,computer input, and student information pertaining to Program Office programs, schools, events, tournaments or any information on tennis activities at the NTC. 

 

  • Process junior and adult tennis program registration utilizing current TennisSource software system.

 

  • Coordinate, create, maintain, and market all Tennis Programs including community tennis programs such as adult and junior competitive leagues, and all other NTC programs to generate revenue and to assist in the growth of Tennis.

 

  • Coordinate and maintain online registration process. Data entry as needed for registration and billing information into computer.

 

  • Keep up to date with all of the tennis programs offered at the NTC. Provide customer service to NTC patrons, ensuring that all information provided to customers is up to date and accurate. Keep abreast of all program openings, which classes are fully booked and which are waitlisted. Be familiar with all playing level qualifications, professional staff postings, registration dates and deadlines. By way of email and news bulletins, keep Reception Desk Staff informed of latest information and other postings at it pertains to the program schedule.

 

  • Responsible for answering all questions from the customers accurately and in a timely manner.

 

  • Serve as assistant to Sr. Business Manager , Manager of Programs , and Business Coordinator regarding additional duties as assigned (ie: type program related documents, letters, mailings, print materials for program registration and bulletin board updates etc.).

 

  • Assist with USTA NTC tournaments, PACES , Video, Social Media postings, and other programs as assigned.

 

  • US Open duties as assigned.

 

  • Other duties and ad hoc reporting as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Feedback from Sr. Business Manager , Manager of Programs & Director of Tennis.

 

  • Quality and timeliness of work.

 

  • Completion of Annual Performance Objectives established by the Manager of Programs and Sr. Business Manager.

 

Assessment of proficiency in USTA Leadership Competencies including Conflict Management, Creative Problem Solving, Customer Focus, Drive for Results, Interpersonal Savvy, Managing Diversity & Inclusion, Organizing & Priority Setting.
