Responsibilities

Position will assist in the creation, proofreading and maintenance of US Open print and media materials. In addition, it will be responsible for helping to research and develop a seamless platform for international and multi-lingual fans seeking US Open event information or purchasing tickets. Candidate should be skilled in Gmail, Microsoft Office programs, specifically Word, Excel and Access. Must also have strong interpersonal, communication and be customer service driven. Must have the ability to learn quickly and efficiently. Candidates with ability to speak, read and/or write in multiple languages will be given preference.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENT:

  • Matriculated student entering junior or senior year 2018 and those graduating in December 2018  from an accredited college or university

Qualifications/Other

  • Ability to effectively communicate, both in writing and verbally, with all levels of management as well as employees
  • Ability to work well independently as well as in a group environment
  • Detailed-oriented
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • High energy level and strong work ethic
  • Dynamic and positive “can do” attitude
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Keen ability to identify and solve problems quickly
  • Competency with MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook (emails) required; social media a plus.
  • Tennis interest a plus, but not required
  • Bilingual skills also welcome especially Spanish.
  • Relatives of the USTA National Staff or Section Staff will not be considered.
